Goodbye Horses

Well...goodbye Mogwokamol-I-A :(
She went to the vet for a checkup and they found a microchip. She had been lost for a while before Sarah found her and was really far away from home. I spoke to her owner on the phone and she had been so distraught, she thought she was dead.. so we did a good deed but we miss her so much :'(

On the plus side we have a new puppy called Frank-- pictures coming soon!
And we have been featured in a post about vintage and customised trends on Reach Students blog

Operation Power to the Pentagon is complete! And now all we need is the floor down, ramp and our boys to work their magic pimping the inside. We can't wait, it's going to look fanfuckingtastic. We shall post some photos when it's all done. Here is a little clue for what's in store:

The Superfine Honeycomb Hideout

We are getting rather excited with the progress on our lovely shed! Sarah is now painting the walls bright green and azure blue with a little help from our friends.
Here is a photo of how it looked a couple of days ago:
More good news -- there is a new pussycat living with us here on The Parade! She is so so cuddly and has a really strange sounding meow. Here's Mogwok:

Tepid Eggs

I catch a stolen glimpse with my left eye, the moon is smiling at me.
I have spotted Jupiter a few times in the past few weeks. Found this great website which has a really simple map of the sky http://www.neave.com/planetarium/
Our new studio is up in the back garden! It is beautiful and feels bigger on the inside than I expected without being too huge and filling up the garden. Sarah has been captain sealing knots in preparation for painting the inside and we will be having many Shed Blessings to celebrate. Photos coming soon!
Here are some new feather earrings available from our website or Etsy shop

R.I.P. Puppy Machine Dawg

Apologies for the lack of postage, for we are in mourning. My darling little hairy piglet was tragically struck down in his prime by a giant metal monster sent straight from hell. Mongrel Meets His Maker indeed. This song means more than you will ever know. Here's a video of Starsky singing for his supper:

The concrete base is down and ready for our studio which will arrive soon. We are so excited! But a bit saddened that the Pig isn't here to trot around it and make it a brighter place. Here is a preview of a bunch of candy coloured simple button necklaces which will be available to buy through our website and Etsy shop very soon

Vintage Pretty

Thanks to everyone who came out to Vintage Pretty last weekend, we did really well and even sold one of our favourite bejewelled bibs.

In other news, we have finally ordered our new jewellery studio! It is a beautiful wooden insulated cabin that will go in the back garden and we are so so excited! It should be arriving October 11th and takes just a couple of days to install...and best of all our darling graffiti artist SLIG we will be helping us pimp the inside -- it goes a little something like this:

A couple of our photos of the Pink Treble Clef Necklace with the Motel dress have been featured on the Motel Style Blog
I knew it would be a good week when I saw the moon turn orange last Sunday. This is the dawning of a new era

Lucky Sarah has stowed away on a trip to Edinburgh with a couple of bilge rats today so I am left holding the fort and waiting for my postcard!
I am like 70% offended that nobody has had the decency to inform me about the legend that is Screamin' Jay Hawkins. He actually wrote the song I Put A Spell On You and this live version is fucking incredible! Check out the crazy eyes. And the tusks.
Oh yeah, back to business. We have some new bracelets in the shop today made from vintage charms, crystals, bells and amazing glittery gold star buttons we bought in Paris.

I had scallops last night

Hello chaps! Not much on the jewellery front today I'm afraid; it's that bastard Evola's fault, he kept us up all night rifling through our bins again! Can't blame him really, we're pretty cool cats and it is his birthday after all. To mark the occasion here is another version of the fantastic Paddy P's Testiclates
Until recently we had never fully appreciated the true majesty and importance of Ganesh in our lives, turns out he's the Lord of success and destroyer of selfishness, vanity and pride. Ganesh's head symbolizes the Atman or the soul, which is the ultimate supreme reality of human existence, and his human body signifies Maya or the earthly existence of human beings. The elephant head denotes wisdom and its trunk represents Om, the sound symbol of cosmic reality and he is the personification of material universe in all its various magnificent manifestations.
Overall he is my second favourite elephant (obviously first place goes to John)
