Christmas Market!

Hello peeps! For any of you in the Cardiff area we are going to Cardiff Vintage and Handmade Christmas Market and Santa's Grotto in Pontcanna on Saturday (December 3rd). We are expecting it to be busier than the last one so it's going to feel really Christmassy. To get you into the festive spirit there's going to be mince pies, mulled wine and a raffle and Santa Claus himself is even going to be there! Best of all, all of this is going to be for the charity Pedal Power, helping to make cycling accessible for all, particularly adults and children with disabilities.

Arts and Crafts Bazaar

We are going to be at Roath arts and crafts bazaar this Saturday so come on down to try stuff on and say hello :) our jewellery is so much better in person, the photos never really do us justice! We are looking forward to checking out all the stalls and starting our Christmas shopping!

South Wales Bloggers Meet

On Thursday 13th was the South Wales Bloggers Meet Up in St Davids centre which we were told about by Chantele of Daisy Days.
  We contributed some discount vouchers to the goodie bags given out at the event and donated a necklace to the raffle. We couldn't make it on the day but heard everybody enjoyed themselves :)

Sarah and I have both been ill the past week so there's not a lot going on really.  I've discovered a fantastic comedian called Robert Popper, I am practically crying listening to his prank phone calls.

More Jewels

We've been very busy this week making lots of new things which will be available in the shop for you shortly! We just got back from the Millennium Centre where we saw Swan Lake performed by Guangdong Acrobatic Troupe of China. It was great, I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. We were completely drooling over the amazing costumes!

PIG Love

I recently commissioned a portrait of my beloved pig by the fantastic MimiLove and it arrived today! It's so so beautiful!

 She paints the most amazing pictures and actually stitches special details into the canvas; she describes herself as one woman, a needle, a paintbrush, a disturbing music back catalogue in her brain and too much time on her hands.
MimiLove is inspired by memories, misty watercolour memories, of the way she were, making stitchy, painty, musically, animally combo's for home n personal adornment.

Thanks everybody who came out to Vintage Pretty on Tuesday! There were sellers there of great handmade things and vintage clothing--I bought a beautiful vintage sequinned top and we sold a few items.

We are really loving the blingting lately --lots of gold, shiny brass, super loaded charm goodness and layered chunky chains! Phwoar look at the snoot on this!

We have been having great fun reading The Peculiar Memories of Thomas Penman by Bruce Robinson, it is absolutely fucking hilarious! One of the first lines is "He rode the toilet like a horse, facing the wall, and crept around in the attic with his penis out" Hahaha!

Our very talented painter friends Joe and Tarian have been busy decorating the inside with a skronkalicious I.A.L.C and a giant squid embroiled in a battle to the death with a sperm whale... oh yes.
